Literacy in the Western Region is still not anything to write home about. The development of the Region must move at a faster rate than the national rate before we can be at far with national development targets.

This campaign is to involve all stakeholders (government, district assemblies, religious groups, assembly-members, unit committee members, children, teachers, and NGOs to bring Information Technology, (IT), communication, Internet usage to the doorstep of the children in the Western Region. We are doing this through advocacy, workshops, training, field trips for teachers, children and PTAs.

We desire to set up computer centers in communities and run a mobile. I.T. Centre to speed up the breaking of the digital divide.

We believe in the community approach because children spend more time in the communities than in the schools and the community influence on children in Africa is high
