THE CHILD-LEANING TOURS (CLTs)

| The
mission of this program is to nurture children and re-engineer the thinking
of children through travel and exposure to role models, festivals, other children
of different cultures, events, monuments, farms etc The object is to break all the barriers which hinder children's development and enrich their thinking, so that the human resource of the country become devoid of racism, ethnicity and parochial thinking. Children from rural areas will visit urban areas to learn, and vice versa. Weekend stays are ways to get children to network and share ideas. On every trip children are asked to wirte all their experiences as part of a competition that allows children to win gifts to support their education. ORPED GHANA has various packages for children on this project. Capacity building, transport, meals and gifts are the needs for this project. |
